The volume of your household goods decides the type of truck needed for your shifting. A truck can range from a small Tata Ace to a 32 feet Container. Price can range from Rs 1000 to 5000 and on the number of trips.

In a local shift, the transit time is hardly 1-3 hours; so the chances of your goods getting damaged are very negligible. Usually, packing is not done for all the items since the chances of damage are very negligible. Packing is done only for the fragile items and the electronic items and kitchen crockery is wrapped with papers and will be packed in cardboard boxes. Other big items like wardrobe, chairs and tables, etc are shifted without packing as the distance is very less. *You may tell the packers for proper packing of big items as per your wish.It may cost additional charges which depends on the quantity of packing material used. This kind of packing approximately costs around Rs 1000 to Rs 4000.

Manpower includes the workers who are going to pack, load, unpack your goods. Professional workers usually charge Rs 700-800/person. Furthermore, below is the manpower required and costs incurred for a house shifting..

In the city vehicle mobility is restricted from 8.00 am to 12.00 noon and 4.00 pm. to 9.00 pm. When you need to shift between these timings you need to pay a Challan of Rs 600.

Most of the shifting staff ask for a tip at the end. Although it totally depends on you whether you have to give or not. Usually they ask for Rs 50-100/person.

Packing may cost from Rs 3000 – 8000 for the standard items. If you have any special and delicate artifacts it can add up to Rs 10000

In Long Haul shifts, the facility of unpacking is not provided to the customers. Even though the facility of unloading of goods to their place is provided. The customers have to pack the goods by themselves. In case the customers need unpacking to be done, we can arrange for that but extra charges are applicable for this.

Unpacking can cost around Rs 1000 to 4000 depending upon the volume of goods.

Since during interstate tansits the truck has to cross several borders so toll charges are applicable. In a few states octroi charges are applicable. These charges are not taken extra by the transport providers; they are included in the transportation costs.

Note- GST, Insurance(if opted), Stationery Charges, Mathadi,Union/ Green Tax,etc. would be extra.

The transit cost also depends on the type of vehicle you opt for i.e. Shared or Direct/Separate.

If you opt for transit in sharing, the truck gets shared between 2 to 3 households and the delivery may take a little longer than usual as there would be 3 to 4 delivery locations. In this case, the costs are more reasonable.

If You opt for a Direct/Seperate truck, you get your shipment early but it will cost you additional Rs 5000 - 15000 more, based on the distance.

Looking at the record of road accidents in India, it is advisable to you to opt for insurance of your goods. In case your goods get damaged during the transit due to some unavoidable issues, you can recover the amount using the insurance policy.

The Insurance amount usually costs around 3% of the total value of the goods declared by you.

In case the customers don't find a flat to stay in the new city/ state, Next Stop Packers Movers also provide storage and warehousing services at minimal costs. The first 15days storage is free of cost and after that some charges start to occur.

Furthermore, if customers wish to move abroad for some days they can store their goods at our warehouses. The charges would be as per the agreement.
